L'Amour Lisik is a queer artist and writer who lives and works on the unceded traditional territories of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples. She holds a BFA in Writing from the University of Victoria, where she focused on poetry and creative nonfiction while squeezing in as many comics workshops and ceramics classes as possible. She started out at The Malahat Review as a Marketing & Promotions work study student.
