Founder, The Maritime Edit
James Mullinger is an award-winning journalist and comedian from London, England. He worked for British GQ for 15 years, interviewing everyone from Scarlett Johansson to Chris Rock, and spearheaded the launch of the GQ iPad edition in 2012 which received international attention when Mullinger convinced Jerry Seinfeld to appear in the launch promotion. He has also written for The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Men's Health and Glamour. In 2014 he moved to Saint John, New Brunswick. He founded his own national print magazine The Maritime Edit that celebrates life in small towns and cities. 70,000 copies are distributed across Canada and after just one year, not only is the title profitable but it's thriving.
